because he thought, even though many fellow conservatives didn't want it and many Socialists did want it, that it was unchristian to allow the old to live in the dire poverty.

9. Canada is more multicultural than the American melting pot.
We celebrate the difference,not homogenize it. The Queen is a figurehead.
