21. No, it was my sister who was the dancer

and she was WAYYY hotter than I ever dreamed of being when she was younger. She was a professional belly dancer, and a good one. I borrowed the costume for Halloween some years ago (thus all the makeup, which I normally would eschew), and I've always liked that picture.

There is an extremely exquisite pain that runs deep with those here who were in Hue or Quang Tri or over the Ho Chi Minh trail, and with the beautiful people (usually, but not always, women) who take care of them now. We might even be a little clique. Sorry if we are.
