My RW dad is driving me NUTS!
I am downstairs posting while they watch FOX News upstairs. He spouts talking points for
McLame/Failin' all day long.

That is all.

1. You want me to go over there and rough him up a little. Then
maybe he'll get the message. Just kidding.

2. LOL!
I wish there was a way to change his mind. He's a total blowhard about politics.

Otherwise, he's a nice guy. :-)

I can't wait 'til this election is over. I may like him again....if we win. ;-)

3. OMG!! Are you my long lost sister?
:P

Sounds exactly like my Dad, except he's too cheap to buy satellite programming to get Fox News.

6. No he doesn't. He gets his talking points from a neighbor
who feeds him stuff everyday from Fox and conservative sites on the 'net.

9. Oh god, that's his lifeline.
He'd most likely od on heavy doses of Fox News everyday. That stuff is potent. Better off to get the talking points of the day 2nd hand rather than straight from Hannity's mouth. :P

5. Me, too.
And a couple of hours of Rush a day. Luckily I don't live with my Dad. I'll be seeing him next weekend, though. We have a family rule - no discussion of religion or politics. That's the only way we can keep things civil. My Dad is pissed that he raised a liberal daughter. Me? I'm damn proud to be a liberal!

8. Good for you! We just moved in with my folks to help out with my mom.
It's going to be tough to hang in here until November! :o

I can't believe I'm back at home, not hard to remember why I left and never came back! (except the occasional visit, of course)

10. You know, I'd be thankful if we had that rule.
But I've never had a civil conversation with the man at all. It degenerates into a bunch of conservative whining and rants, much of it talked about for years on end.
