Update on the saga of the detatched retina
Still had some concerns about the gas bubble not dissapating as soon as I had thought it would, etc. When I sat down at the computer to check DU last night and , looking through my e=left eye, I noticed that my field of vision was more constrained by a shaddow appearin in the upper right . I had noticed thisbefore, but it had been so small that I didn't really think it was anything. I geot up from the computer, though and went in to watch my recording of KO and Maddow on our knew 32" TV. It was about midnight, and first I got the leftover Beef with Broccoli and a glass of milk which I finished of pretty fast. After watching for only a few minutes, something told me that I shouldn't eat anything else ... the "shaddoe was becoming definitely larger and more distinct.

To make a long story not so long, I went to see the retina specialist this morning and he said that due to scar tissue from before, the retina was detaching in another place. So he did surgery on it this afternoon (good thing I didn't eat) This time instead of a gas bubble in my eye, they put in some kind of special oil. He will take the oil out in about 3 0r 4 months and untill then everything will be real blurry in that eye. My eye has a big metal patch for the third time since spring and Ihave to sleep either sittin up leaning over to keep my head down, or on my stomach with my eye facing down ... in other words, I get about 10 minurtes of sleep every now and then.

I also got interestin news from the cardiologist this week, but am to tired to write about it now.

What the hell is next ... well, I suppose it could be worse.
