1. I've had, let me think, one.
Personal finance (it's cross-labeled business and econ.) So on the off chance I ever have any money, I can not be stupid with it. :D

3. Ha!
If I feel like it, I'll take Money and Financial Institutions next semester...my LAST semester! w00t!

Well, until Grad school, that is. x(

But, I don't know, I'll still have my Thesis (3 credits), Internship (6), Calc (4)...so....Probably not.

May 30th or whatever can't get here soon enough, seriously.

4. Yeah, with your thesis and calculus, you won't need to take on any more work.
That's more than enough.

11. It's not all numbers...trust me
There's plenty of that in Micro/Macro theory classes, but a lot of the others are conceptual classes, lots of papers. The major math comes in Grad school.

Ok, Econometrics was math heavy, but I've blocked that out. Bad memories, despite the A grade I got. :scared:

13. You're either a Micro or a Macro person...
Rarely does a person take to both. Even my Profs. That just seems to be the way it is. I used to think I was a Macro person, but I take to Micro more and more as time goes on. It scares me, frankly. :P

Also, I'd advise you to take a good real estate/real property economics class.

17. omg, please never mention real estate again
The guy I'm taking personal finance from is a real estate guy by trade (he teaches part time for the pension and bennies.) I never want to hear another word about our local market again.

And Dad's looking at houses again (he took my advice for once and waited for the downturn) so I hear about it from him too.

20. Um....I'm in the title industry so
not mentioning real estate? Not gonna happen.

I can say that I got tossed from my freshman personal finance class. Dumbfuck didn't like my answer that took into question the dividends paid via preferred over common stock of a reference he used. Didn't even consider the split that his reference took the same year.

Look, if you want total earnings you have to take into consideration the source of those earnings.

I was 18 at the time. Probably made 5x what he did that year practicing what he thought he was preaching.

Wish I was still an asshole profiteer...

28. My favorite economics joke
Told the first day of Macro

"A bunch of economist were trapped in a deep pit.
'How do we get out?' one asked.
'Simple,' said another. 'First, we imagine a ladder'."
