A dazzling digital rendition of what it would look like if the Earth got totally killed by an asteroid. Sure, it would suck for us, but it'd be a pretty neat show for any aliens hanging around in the solar system.

1. i can't click the link--it's too close to my bedtime
i had a big nightmare the other night and woke up feeling like my heart was going to explode. i swear, when people "go quietly in their sleep" i really think they're having a nightmare and it finally gives them a heart attack!

(or at least some people--)

Relax, even if a micro black hole could be stable, it would take eons to eat the Earth. It would fall to the center of Earth without even encountering another particle along the way. So the physicists say anyway.
