"What do gay people eat for breakfast?"
This is the question I got from my 8 year old niece who's staying with us for a while. How do you answer that question? I said "Corn Flakes" but honestly, you never really expect those kinds of questions....

Should I expect left field questions when my kid, Baby Nate, turns 8?

but I would say yes, you will get some crazy questions from the little tyke. Like why do you always drink that horrible green stuff and then look very happy?

Sorry folks - but please don't tell me to get a sense of humor. This all seems pretty harmless but it reveals something about cultural biases.

IMHO, some of the above posts are offensive. Consider for a moment, making "clever breakfast puns" regarding Jews, Christians, women, African-Americans, immigrants, etc. and you'll see what I mean.

Just my 2 cents.
