8. I loved the randomness of both! Thanks.
That's exactly what I needed. :) It was great that Portman was rapping and with such profanity.

9. Good vids -- they were fun.
I never saw that Budweiser commercial before -- I really liked it. The Finnish music video was funny because it was so corny. The choreography...what is there to say. It caught me by surprise and had me laughing. Thanks.

That Godfather clip was one of the more memorable moments in Family Guy for me. The "It insists upon itself" quote gets me every time. :)

12. The vids from barelypolitical are always fun.
It's great how they can lampoon political matters with humor. They're pretty quick about making videos too.

Especially the corn-on-the-cob scene. I almost popped a blood vessel from laughing so hard.

Interesting fact: This movie came out in 1936, the same year McCain was born.

14. Charlie Chaplin is classic!
Thanks for the clip. I was laughing so hard at everything. He was able to convey so much without saying a single word -- that's talent.

...that is an interesting fact.

19. Both vids were really funny.
The J-Men Forever vid reminded me of the classic Steve Martin movie "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid." Thanks.

22. You're welcome :)
There's quite a few more parts to the J-Men forever one as it was originally a 90-minute movie. I got to see it back in 1979 when it opened at Houston's first annual film festival :)

Firesign Theater is always great for a pick-me-up. Look for "Nick Danger" or "Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers" :D

18. The funniest thing I've seen on a screen today
is McCain's speech, right now.

Seriously.

It's so horribly, miserably awful. If Palin didn't kill any chance he had, this speech sure will.

But, I can't stomach the RNC so I haven't watched a single second of it....

21. Cats, cats, cats!
Never broadcast live a news item featuring a cat!

Something this Fox News reporter failed to appreciate:

And the best cat compilation IMHO:

24. Those cat vids were fun.
You would think that the media would know by now not to do live segments including cats.... I always laugh and cringe at the Pinky the cat video -- both parties were obviously traumatized. ;) But the newscaster with the growling cat was lucky she didn't get her eyes scratched out and the compilation was cute. Thanks.

26. I see it another way
I always laugh and cringe at the Pinky the cat video -- both parties were obviously traumatized. ;)

That Pinky video was formative in my thinking about cats and what a cat is. After seeing that, I have always thought of the cat as formidable. Yeah, they are fluffy and cute and funny, too, but they can really pack a wallop.

Never underestimate a cat.
