yet she has a personable way that caught my attention, then I felt dirty afterwards :P

Like most of her class Sarah Palin comes across as a pleasant, civilized, determined woman. If you met her at a dinner party you might well go away with the impression that she was really quite charming. But then those close to Hitler thought he was rather an avuncular chap, too. Yeah, she looks pretty good for being twice my age, but the problem is that our society has become so superficial that millions of people might vote for her ticket on that basis alone.
