Wow! This is interesting - regarding new job.
Okay forget about the other new job I was going on about. My co-worker applied to another job in the same area. The guy asked him to send some clippings...it was short notice so he just sent two full papers.

Now the guy calls up to talk to my co-worker....and he wanted to speak to me too.

Near as I can tell, perhaps he wants to hire two reporters...he would have seen my work in the full papers he recieve..

What do you think?

1. Talk to the guy!
Then, call the other place, and let them know you are in demand, or at least considering another offer. Maybe that will jump start a bidding war for your services! :D

Maybe he likes your stuff better. Could be awkward with your friend.

9. I talked to him
Okay, I called the guy and what happened was the other job I applied for sent my resume and a recommendation to him. Which sucks because I obviously didn’t get the other job – thanks for calling me. Anyway the guy asked me a few questions and I answered honestly – so we’ll see the outcome.

Man O man

Back to square one for sure.

11. I suppose
I'm not mad about that...but I am pissed the chickenshits couldn't phone me to say I didn't get the job. Had I just had and interview I would not have cared....but the lady flat out said she wanted to hire me and had to check with headquarters. To me, that deserves a phonecall..fucking chickenshits
