Seven reasons I love college football
1. Nostalgia. Reminds me of my college days thirty years ago.

2. Passion. I can always change my NFL allegiance but I can never change my alma mater.

3. No millionaire players (except for USC).

4. Rivalries dating back a century or more.

5. Bowl Games. Half of the teams that make it to a bowl game get to end their season on a happy note. Too many bowls? Get outta here! Three weeks with at least one game a day on TV = heaven.

6. Overtime. It's exciting and most of all, it's fair! No matter the coin toss, your team is guaranteed to get the ball at least once.

7. Traditions, fight songs and marching bands.
