"Passion of Christ" Merchandising Tie-Ins:
What fast food restaurant should do the Happy Meal? And what would the menu items be? And please describe the toys and their function. The Crown of Thorns Krazy Straw, which exits the beverage and wraps around the child's head, is obvious enough.

7. I'd buy that happy meal in a heartbeat!!
Heck, I'd buy a few extra. Be a nice skillset to have for when we run out of alcohol at parties or too broke to buy a drink at a bar

4. That James Carroll review has it right and true...
He said the people getting all het up over this fetishistic, gorey, ahistorical, anti-Semitic "tribute" to Christ are those who would rather fixated on Jesus' last moments than his meassages of compassion and hope, which are ignored.

Which, of course, describes the vain and empty works of Robertson, Falwell and Bush.

would be at every McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy's in the country. If they weren't afraid of an outcry, they would do it in a heartbeat. The profit motive has no conscience. It may use judgement only to the extent of measuring how an action may impact profits, but the profit motive has no conscience.
