21. I'm in Detroit and get Canadian TV if I want it...
Several months after September 11, just before the Iraq war started, one of their SNL-type shows did a montage from the opening of Parliament. I guess, in Canada, when Parliament opens, they fire cannons. It's just tradition.

No kidding: a "news anchor" (read: comedian) was on hand for the festivities. When their own cannon fired, his eyes lit up and said, "The Americans are here!" You had to see it to understand it, but it was very funny. My husband and I laughed a great deal, albeit in a sad way...

Just tells you a slight bit of what Canada really thinks of us. And, God help me, I don't blame them.

Ah well.

22. I'd have nothing against Canada, if it weren't for the fact that...
they sent us Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Anne Murray, Celene Dion, Nickelback (mucho hatred for that one), Alanis Morrisette; I'm sure I'm leaving some atrocities out, but those are things that can never be forgiven.

In my defense, they are my most immediate neighbors and I like them anyway. It's always best to be nice to the neighbors. :-)

7. Please don't ignore the power of Canadian Rap, a.k.a. C-Rap.
Now, if only there was a certain rap artist who epitomizes all that is the genre of C-Rap.....

Anyone? Anyone?

26. The Arrogant Worms!!!!!
I'm at work and can't view YouTube videos, but I saw the Worms in the list and had to chime in.

I've seen them a few times live and have most of their albums. Whenever I need something fun to listen to, they're one of my go-to groups.
