Little League World Series.

So I banged myself up pretty bad on the ladder right before Fay.

SO I sit here channel surfing and yesterday I found this.

These little dudes are fantastic!

Right now the championship game is on between Hawaii and Mexico. Looks like Hawaii is gonna run away with it.

1. They are so cute

and also they play some great baseball.

Hawaii came from behind yesterday to beat Louisiana. Great game.

The little guys are so adorable; they're out there being all cool and acting like pros, but when they make a great play they just get so happy, smiling all over their faces. I love to see that.

And then when they lose, some of them start crying, which makes me sad for them, but at the same time it is just so sweet.

11 to 3 right now, top of the 6th I think, so probably it is not gonna be as exciting as yesterday's game.

Still, pure baseball. I love it.

2. Hawaii is a good team.

We had a team from CT down there and Hawaii beat up on them. I love watching Little League baseball.

2nd LLWS title in 4 years for the same part of O'ahu (note: there seems to have been some confusion between Waipi'o and Waipahu. Waipi'o, actual home of the World Champs, is a newer suburb which shares the ZIP code of neighboring, larger Waipahu.) Theoretically, in seven or eight years, UH could field a team with several of these guys as freshmen -- and several of the original champs from 'Ewa Beach as seniors!

Now if we could get someone over age 13 to win something -- anything...

Random thoughts: Lou Dobbs must have been going batshit trying to figure out which team was the "Americans". :P As for Cokie Roberts, well, there's nothing more foreign or exotic than baseball, now, is there? :sarcasm:
