2. Do people hate taxis?

My husband drove a cab for 10 years (he's Du'er LooseWilly). They work hard for owners who just look on them as a money farm. Show some love folks. (Speaking out generally not to you sniffa).

9. This one time in Montreal

we wanted to go this place called (Teasers?) but didn't know where it was, so we hop in a cab and ask him to take us to the place. He proceeds to drive what seemed like 80km/hr to the end of the block, takes a right, takes the next right, then the next right, and another right and drops off about 20 feet from where we hopped in. He could have just told us to turn around. :eyes:

I've been taken on "scenic routes" and almost been in accidents more times than I care to recount.

got me where I wanted to go quickly and efficiently. So I would imagine it's hard to draw any concrete conclusions about all taxis from anyone's individual experiences. About the only thing that can safely be said is that there appears to be good taxis and bad taxis.
