Saga of the travelling back pain
I threw my back out at work a week ago. Screaming pain located in my lower right back. Doctor, chiropractor, physical therapy, modified work schedule.

As of Wednesday, it was feeling a bit better. Woke up Thursday morning and could barely move. It had come back with a vengeance and was now located sort of centrally in my lower back. Horrible.

Called in sick Thursday and Friday. Felt better by Friday afternood with only minor pain. Woke up this morning with stabbing pain in my LEFT lower back, travelling down my leg. :nuke:

This has reached the point of bizarre. Now the right side that I first injured feels fine but this pain on my left side is like being electrocuted.

This getting old shit sucks. x(

1. Sorry to hear that
I hope they can get you better without something severe like surgery. Did they change the recommendations after the pain went down your leg?

3. I see both the doc and the PT on Monday
I've already discovered that some of the stretches they gave me in PT do NOT work with this new, fun twist on an old pain. :eyes:

I don't think there's anything structural amiss (at least not in a major way) - it's just a pain in the ass - literally!

:hi:

6. Worst movie title ever.
I'm sorry for your pain. If you can get a doctor to work on it, please do all the stupid exercises s/he prescribes.
