We found the greatest handyman.

He just replaced our garbage disposal that broke down a year ago, which I've been meaning to replace myself but kept avoiding, and unstuck a window that we've not been able to open for over a year. He practically took the whole thing apart to find where it was jammed. And as he was walking out the door, he fixed our front door bell. All for $25!

A retired fork lift mechanic who isn't doing it for the money, he just "loves fixing things" and he wants to keep busy. $20 an hour... we've struck gold! Now I don't have to fix anything myself, and it's an incredibly reasonable price to pay to not have to get dirty.

6. Yeah, he mentioned he could do small things, like the things I can do myself

changing lights, ceiling fans, outlets, but he wouldn't do anything major because of the liability/risk.

He'll do anything but that and painting, he said. Definitely a good find.
