Creepy moment!

So I'm sitting here at 12:30 AM, the only one awake in the house. Our computer is in the foyer, and the staircase is to my immediate left. It's a switch-back design: eight steps to the landing, then eight steps to the second floor, and there's a window on the landing overlooking our driveway.

Just a moment ago I heard something very distinctly go FSSSS! right outside the window. The ground is about eleven feet below it, and a quick check confirms that there's no one out there with a ladder or without.

What am I to make of this creepiness? Is Temeah spying on me again?
