I really hate the damn thing, so I have one cellphone free day.

2. I didn't sigh up for the text message either.
Enough people have my cell phone number.

5. I am thinking of changing my number.
The damn thing goes off all day, most of the calls are junk calls. My work cellphone is on but only a few people have that number.

I work part time and set my own schedule, but with the nature of my work, I need to be reachable at all times when the facilities are open (unless I'm on vacation and have designated a contact person). I also wouldn't want to miss the call if my daughter goes into labor (less than three weeks to due date!).

We have land line if someone really needed me.

8. We use our landline only for satellite TV guide updates. The ringer is never even turned on.
I've got the bare bones basic service and nothing else for the land line.

7. Mine is always off. I only use it to make calls, not to receive them.
We're not allowed to use them at work so no sense in running down the battery.

10. I have never been a big fan of telephones.
Never liked to talk on them. Now one of my housemates as her cellphone glued to her ear.

My contract is up and I am shopping around for another phone. It will have another number. I am so tired of the junk calls.

I rarely turn it on because I don't like the family (who are the only ones who have the number) calling when I'm at work.
