I'm thinking about creating a humerous post in GDP that suggests I know who the VP pick will be.

I'm sure that everyone will have a good time with it. I can just see their faces when they click on my post "I JUST GOT A TEXT! OBAMA'S VP WILL BE...". Zing! I think they'll really appreciate the joke.

My only concern is which name with which to fill in the blank - what will be funniest? Should I go with the absurd, like Hulk Hogan? Hulk Hogan is always funny. Or should I go with subtle satire, like Joe Lieberman - have you noticed that he looks like a turtle? (LOL!) - Or should I suggest Hilary Clinton? The fact that she is a real possibility could lead to big laughs! Choices, choices - such is the life of an online funnyman.

...that I have it on unimpeachable authority that he/she is the one. That way, when the real running-mate is announced, I can start another thread saying "I was right," thereby enhancing my (admittedly largely nonexistent) reputation as a political "seer."
