I just watched No Reservations....
Boy did they market that movie wrong. The promos made it look like a modern day Tracy Hepburn movie with two strong egos doing battle in the kitchen of a New York Bistro.

It's really about creating a family out of circumstance which happens so much these days, well, always, I guess.

I like this movie. I liked it a lot. I even teared up a little at the sentimental spots but that's what happens when you get to be fifty and have a chance to stare down your own mortality.

In other words, it's an adult movie with adults acting like adults with, get this, an upbeat ending.

3. It was a nice movie. The way CZJ went from a dowdy almost frumpy
woman into what she was at the end is the real story.

People should just let life in.

5. i could not get into that movie at all
i knew better than to even watch it, because it's an american remake of a german film i greatly enjoy (mostly marta), but i did it anyway.

even as a standalone movie, i don't think it was that great, but i'm glad you enjoyed it :)
