Name a Celebrity You Wouldn't Brake for
Kate Hudson: Had a promising start with "Almost Famous", and it's been an interminable parade of dogshit since.

Nicolas Cage: With the exception of "Adaptation" and maybe one or two others, he's allowed himself to become the male version of Hudson since "Leaving Las Vegas".

43. I do too.
Although she didn't sing very well live when I saw her. Well, she was never a great singer but I like her songs because they have good beats and make me want to dance. She really is a great dancer, so she does have some talent there.

And I also like most of her movies. Again, not the greatest actress but they are entertaining enough.

32. Yet they still insure me. 5 accidents in 9 years for me alone...
2 of them "comprehensive" claims (poor deer RIP), 2 "silly ones" (running into a ditch when distracted by a bug on my leg, and side-swiping my mother-in law's pickup truck) and on all four of these occasions that I was insured with State Farm with they paid up, no problem, no complaints. The silly ones caused my rates to go up.

What impressed me most about State Farm was not State Farm per se, but my local agent. My first accident was a biggie - spun out a Mazda Protege into the path of a 18-wheeler on a wet, diesel-spilled Interstate, ironically at a place called Death Valley in Greensboro. The car was totaled, I was lucky to be alive. I was with Progressive then but come renewal time they thought the accident was my fault and jacked up my rates. After a year of high rates and them wanting to increase it again, I shopped around. Found Jim Young in Greensboro. He saw the accident on my record and asked more details about it. Apparently he went so far to get the police report and made a decision that the accident wasn't my fault (it wasn't - there were multiple accidents down that road that day - truck spilling diesel all down the Interstate) and that when he gives the quote he won't include the insurance points. Result: lowest auto quote around by miles - no-one else gave that consideration to me... just looked 3 insurance points, bad rate. As a result they have my auto, some of my life insurance and my homeowners insurance.

Maybe I just have a darned good agent?

Mark.

And a major Democratic party supporter as well. I do not understand the need to potentially alienate the Democratic party's major supporters. While you may not have intended it as such, I have a feeling there's certain "undesirables" on board here who are trying to achieve that.
