Update on my evil evil abdomen pains:
I had posted last Friday about having a baaadd pain just below the crest of my hip bone on my right side, and on my right back/flank. My doc pulled blood and took urine for testing.

The tests came back today totally normal. No tumor proteins (relieving, considering my cancer history), no elevated white blood cell counts.. everything registered as fine. Weird, especially for such a sharp, sharp pain.

Tomorrow's my CT scan. I'm back to theory #1: kidney stone. Which is wonderful, considering what it could've been.

Let's party! BYOV&B (bring your own vicodin & barium!!!)

1. I Had That Problem Once
Turned out my cat liked to sleep with me and got "opinionated" when I rolled over her once.

The moral is: look for simple solutions. It could be something as simple as eating an acidic food with sugar added.

2. Wife had that
She had gall stones. Gall bladder was then removed laproscopically (sp?). Apparently you really don't need it anyway.

She'll tell you it's a life saver. She used to have such horrible pains and would wake up sometimes unable to breathe or move it was so bad. She's felt GREAT since then.

Hope you feel better.

3. Good for you. Now don't let them do that vibration tub thing to break them
up. It can take out your liver and kill you. I am delighted
that you have something manageable and non-malignant. Always
a reason to party. :)
