What's the first forum you check when you login to DU?

I always go first to GD: Presidential, then GLBT, then the Lounge. Don't know why.

5. Presidential.

To me, it is the most irritating*, but sometimes has one or two worthwhile posts, so I get it over with and go on to the good stuff, like here.

* irritating because I'm voting for Obama, and anybody he decides to pick as VP is fine with me.
I would not vote for a Republican for any reason ever, period, and never have.
Why get all worked up over speculation that means nothing to me.

When our lizard alien overlords land in Washington D.C. to take home their GOP bretheren, we will hear about it in the Lounge first. In GD or LBM it'll take a few days for the reality to be accepted. GDP will suddenly become quiet as a tomb when all the agent provocteurs are gone, although a certain stench will remain for many years to come.

...My DU, GD, GLBT, LBN, Editorials, Political Videos, California, Sports, Entertainment, and anything else I can think of. Only then do I venture into GDPissed.

26. Start with My DU....after I stop sobbing from the lack of attention,

I usually click on Gen. Discussion. Done there, I go to R/T, then AA, then skeptics, then (if I have time) the lounge.

Basically always the same order. I very seldom go to breaking news, because most of the interesting stuff usually starts discussion in GD anyways.

And I really don't like GD: P or it's predecessor....never go in there anymore.

27. I go to that page labled "latest discussion" as it is my bookmark for DU

it has the latest posts in the center and actual latest breaking news on the right (ads on the left)
I skim those then usually check "my DU" or come to the lounge. Sometimes I check rural, AZ, computer, or cooking first.

Sometimes I come to DU before I even check my real e-mail :blush:
