6. GROG

A daily shot of Grog (usually rum) was given to the Queen's navies. On a stop over visit to Halifax they gave us some at Grog time. Needless to say, our XO wasn't pleased.

I think the Brits stopped the Grog thing awhile ago. Part of becoming more PC I guess.
