My so-called friend. (Rant alert)
I was all set to spend a whole day doin' a whole lotta nothin'

Sack out on the couch, watch some tube, take a nap, surf the Net

Ya know, live the high life.

Because it's my freaking day off.

But nooooooooooo

Someone called, said the fact that the sun was out and the temps were reasonable meant we should go for a bike ride.

We rode out to the town lake, rented a canoe and explored parts of the lake we had never seen before. No one around but us and a couple really cool herons.

Then we came home and had some brews.

She made me forget myself, I thought I was someone else. Someone good.

With friends like that, who needs enemies?

How's everybody else doing today?

:grr: :grr: :grr:

3. Then my wife made a feast of grilled goodies
I could smell it half a block away when I was walking the dogs.

Will the torture never stop?

5. Do you remember the Super Bowl when the NFL used that song for an ad?
I thought it was odd because the song never mentions "watching football" as part of a perfect day.
