Dara Torres is one classy person
Wow, that she went out and help up that semifinal so the other girl could change suits is amazing. That she took the time to break up her concentration for that, I can't even believe it. What a wonderful person.

1. That was awesome...
She could have done nothing, and they could have started the race without the Swedish swimmer. Badass. That's sportsmanship, right there. :)

3. I'd like to think I'd be nice enough to do that
but I don't know. That she even took the time to notice the girl was having problems, lots of people would be too focused to even pay attention.

41? Maybe I should come out of retirement... nope, not gonna happen, lol. She's amazing.

5. And she calmed down the other swimmers who wanted to
get going, while Therese was changing suits.

Dara is my favorite Olympian this year, and not just b/c of this. She's remarkable. :)

7. I can't wait to watch that final
The second place qualifier was 16. Just a baby! Dara is probably older than her mom, but she can still do it. Unbelievable.

8. Same here!
I SO hope she wins. That would just be so wonderful. What stories she will have to tell that lil baby girl when she's older. :)

10. I'll be yelling around for sure
lol. I get a little intense. I can barely hear the national anthem without getting excited and nervous.

Good day tomorrow, we'll see Phelps go for that last gold too, it'll be awesome.

2. Yep
like she said, in the pool they're competitors. Out of the pool they're all friends.

:)

She's a class act.
