MrsGrumpy, thank you for your florist recommendation a while back...
I called Viviano and they were really helpful and gave me the name of one of the smaller, family-owned florists near my sister. I had an orchid plant delivered to her after her surgery and she said it was beautiful! I'm going to keep Viviano in my bookmarks and use them as a reference when I need a local florist.

I really appreciate it!

1. I am glad it worked out for you.
They are our small town florist here, but they've made a name for themselves throughout the tri-county area. They made a devastating time bearable by doing exactly what I wanted, and I am so glad they could help you. I hope your sister is well.

5. thanks, MrsGrumpy - her surgery went really well
and I think her spirits are up, too, now that the anticipation is over. The preliminary glance at the lymph nodes showed them all clear (still waiting for the final report) so if that holds true, she won't have to have radiation, and might be able to skip chemo, though she'll be on tamoxifan for at least 5 years....

If you want me to tell them who recommended them, I'd be glad to call back and do so... (just PM me your information).

I don't care if they're Republicans or not -- I understand (don't agree with, but understand) the appeal of the pre-Bush 41 Republican party to some people. And if they were good to you, that's good enough for me.

of the founder keep their politics to themselves. I went to school with their kids. :hi:
I know their (Frank, I think) son Paul is a pretty huge contributor to Dem causes...or at least used to be. I feel pretty comfortable shopping there.

They also fund the Breast Cancer walk and run each year at Metro Beach with Huntington Banks.
