Seriously - cats are proof that God loves us and wants us to be subservient
I just love my cats, I wish I could have more cats but I really don't want to be that crazy cat lady with 100 cats in her house. But I can't imagine anyone living a life without a cat in it!

1. I don't know what I would do without a couple of furbabies around.
Even if they do insist on running the place. :)

Personally, I think my cats are spawns of Satan..... I KID! But they are little demons, sometimes...:)

3. *Sigh* We started with two, now have 7, and an eighth one
angling to join the family (he's not quite sure about the mandatory castration, though).

The orange one in this (last Christmas) shot is as I type sweeping the keyboard and mouse with her lovely tail. I *loves* my kitties, too! :loveya:

9. didn't want to be (up to 8, that is). Which is why we found Sonia her lovely home
with you guys! But the mommakitty (also in the photo - the tortie named Novi) brought us her KITTENS, my resolve totally melted. And then I couldn't turn the momma out and keep her babes, and I didn't like anyone around here who wanted the kittens, so I hoarded them :D

12. I'm sorry you lost your tortie girl
Novi (aka MommaKitty) is such a sweetheart, but DEMANDING when she wants affection :D She brought us her three girl babies about 3 years ago (kept 'em all).... the orange girl Marilyn behind her is one of her babies.

Do you have any other cats? Maybe someone to take the edge off your loss a bit?

13. Had two when she passed
and have "acquired" one of the neighborhood strays. I thought my tortie was talkie and needy. But dang! My new girl (solid grey, 17 months) talks constantly and is always under foot. She's definitely a momma's girl-never even goes near my fiance.

4. As in...
A dog looks at his owner and thinks to himself: "You give me food and shelter... you must be a GOD!!!"

A cat looks at his owner and thinks to himslef: "You give me food and shelter... I must be a GOD!!!"

6. I have been three weeks stuck by myself with my 2mega-neurotic torties
They have issues 'cause their momma left them at about 5-weeks when she disappeared on us.

They are soooooo clingy!

Glad the family will be back tomorrow to distract the cats.

16. I adopted mine back in March and I already can't imagine
how I got by before she came home with me. Summer's a tabby-Siamese mix so not only is she painfully cute, she's also incredibly chatty. I was saying just yesterday that she makes me laugh every day with her quirky ways--she's all kinds of awesome. :)

21. I adore my cats. My heart melts everytime I think about them.
I admit, I was one of those people that think cats are hateful, second rate pets. I only got a cat because I was in an apartment that didn't accept cats. Now that I have them though, I cannot imagine life without them.

But then she jumped up in my lap and forced me to put my computer aside and pet her. *sigh*

I'm subservient to beer. And wine, And hard liquors.

OK. It's alcohol. Alcohol is proof that God loves us and wants us to be subservient
