6. Boba was beaten by a blind man. By accident.
Jango went toe-to-toe with a Jedi and arguably came out on top. Of course, then Windu showed up and kicked his innumerably-copied punk ass.

11. And then went on to get into a light saber duel with Vader.
And who can forget the tale of Skippy, the Jedi Droid?

12. Ah, yes. You're referring to "Star Wars Fiction"
Edited on Thu Aug-14-08 11:47 PM by Orrex
If it ain't on the big screen, it ain't canon.

And I forgot to mention: He was beaten by a blind man. By accident. And he screamed like a baby as he fell into the pit, too!

13. *knockknockknock*
hello, I'm here to revoke your nerd badge. please put it and your discount card for mountain dew in this envelope.

you can skip most of the novels, but you can't miss Zahn's stuff, and the X-Wing ones are a lot of fun as well.

15. George Lucas has to approve any new Star Wars books.
So according to the creator, it's just as canon as Vader being Luke's father.

16. Yeah, and Lucas hired Hayden Christensen, so he's no expert either
Edited on Fri Aug-15-08 11:46 AM by Orrex
If there's one person in the galaxy whose opinion on Star Wars I won't credit, it's George Lucas.

Also, I guess this means that Splinter of the Mind's Eye and Han Solo's Revenge are canon, too?

21. By that logic you give more credence to Midichlorians than some of the well written stuff.
:P

And badly written, at that.

22. If we're talking Star Wars canon...
Then Jango Fett doesn't even exist, just like those prequels that don't exist.

14. thats only because he thought his jet pack still worked
if you watch the scene, his jet pack gets disabled, and his trademark is lifting off when an opponent gets close. When Windu gets really close he tries to life off but his jet pack is faulty....he fully expected to lift off, otherwise he wouldn't have been beaten so easily.

20. That's what happens when you depend on toys instead of skill.
If he'd depended on skill, he woulda done the smart thing and run the hell away.

A mandalorian might not like running away, but they like being decapitated even less. :)

9. I've been thinking about making my own set of Mandalorian armor.
I know someone in the local Mandalorian clan. He's their 'demolitions expert'. Which basically means that he has WAY too much fun with things that go boom. And when he wanted to decorate his armor, he decided to add authentic scorch marks to the wrist armor by launching fireworks from them. :)
