4. DU Anonymous at your service
Hi, my name's Droopy and I've been a DU addict for the past year. I just can't explain the hold that this addiction has on me. Whenever I go to turn off the computer a little voice goes off in my mind saying, "No! Must have more DU. Must check out that other forum." I've tried surrendering to a higher power, but it just hasn't worked. I've gone a few days without DU, but my mind is consumed with thoughts about it when I'm not there. I fear my only other alternative will be to get rid of my computer.

5. The 12 steps to DU recovery:
1. We admitted we were powerless over DU -that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore the U.S. to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of the DU admins as we understood them. Which we don't.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves and out political party.

5. Admitted to other's in the Lounge, to ourselves, and to another human being, except Republicans, the exact nature of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have DU remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked DU admins to remove our shortcomings.

8. Made a list of all neo-con repukes we had harmed, and became willing and determined to take them out completely in November.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. Naaah - nevermind...

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong - which we were not - promptly admitted it - which won't happen because we're not wrong.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation and beer to improve our conscious contact with DU as we understood it praying only for knowledge of its disembodied cyber will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of those steps we tried to carry this message to unenlightened republicans, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

7. We'll all sit around and smoke cigs and drink bad
