but the budget deficit is at half a trillion, I think.

7. and that's just the cash accounts
it's significantly more than that if you look at the structural deficit caused by delayed work on infrastructure. It will cost 5 pr so trillion to bring the insfrastructure of this country back up to code, rail, highways, bridges, hospitals, schools, fire houses, civil equipemtn and training. This is where the real deficit is.
