I got thrown off an evangelical Christian board a few years ago. It started when I compared Bush to Hitler in terms of the language used to describe the "liberation" of Iraq. My take on the Terri Schiavo tragedy, however, was the final straw.

4. I completely don't understand it. In this thread on Liberation Theology,

I said I'm not a fan because I'm a pacifist. Also said I wish the UCC were more welcoming of pacifism. Next thing I know, this one guy is calling me an elitist and snob, and the moderator was all pissed because I "attacked" the UCC. Every time I tried to defend myself, those two just got more and more angry. Then I said I'd just leave and the mod told me I should go until I figure what's going on in my life to make me behave this way (you see, among mainline liberal Protestants, the worst thing one can say about you is that you "have issues".) I posted a couple of times in a completely different thread earlier. Now I can't get on.

Screw 'em. They have issues.
