15. Yes!
The first time I ever heard it, I literally burst into tears when the bagpipes started. It's just about the most moving piece of music I've ever heard. :D

4. The first half of Band on the Run
The second half, the "Band on the Run, band on the run..." part, really sucks.

But the first half is good.

7. What? No "Jet", No "Junior's Farm"????
Those songs rock, sort of..Although I have no idea what either song is about, even after repeated listenings...

9. Jet Rocks and here is what it is about (IMHO)
A boy from the wrong side of the tracks in is love w a proper girl named "Jet"

Her family disapproves of him.

He is trying to get her to defy them to be with him - even the Major (dad, grandfather?) believes in the rights of women - just stand up to them!

He prays to his own mother or Virgin Mary that he wants Jet to always love him.

Jet can't stand up to her family - but the narrator tries one more time to get her to leave them by asking her to climb on the back of his motorcycle and escape it all (and go for a ride in the sky).

To me the lyrics are pure poetry and some of Paul's best. And crank that baby up, the track ROCKS!!!!

10. I don't care what it's about!
You could tell from the first four seconds of the track that "Jet" was (pardon my geezerity here) a HIT RECORD!!!

21. "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey", and "Press"
But not much in between. "Band on the Run" is good. The early 80s duets deserve to be melted down.

OK, that's pre-Wings, from his first solo album, "McCartney." But it's still better than anything he did with Wings.

its technically not a Wings song. It was from Paul's 1970 (I think)solo release "Ram."

36. Most of Wings was sentimental, adolescent pap.
I went to the Band on the Run concert and Venus & Mars concert. I walked out on both, they sucked and I've never paid attention to anything post-Beatles since.
