Do not be concerned.

Russia has developed stealth tanks with what's called "Advanced Rumble Silencers," so it is incredibly difficult to hear them carousing through the streets. I also read on Wikipedia that they are beta testing a special light-refracting spray paint (which they may be employing now) and would explain why the tanks are invisible to the naked eye.

That said, I can understand your concern that your senses of sight and sound have ceased to function. Rest assured, they should still be working properly, as you were at least able to write this question into Yahoo! Answers. As such, you should have no need to worry.
