6. If they're really sweet, peeled like an orange. Otherwise...
...cut in half, sectioned, and sugared. Yum!

7. Peel it like an orange..
...unless it's a very large grapefruit with a thin skin, then I break out the knife. I generally don't eat those types though because they're not as sweet as the smaller grapefruits.

and a couple bottles of Dom Perignon and perhaps a tray of foie gras, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and a bowl of grapefruit slices, unadulterated with sugar. Preferaby the grapefruit is actually one of those large Asian ones, the name of which escapes me, but which when peeled are truly beautiful. Pommeroys? Pommelos? Something like that.

13. Perhaps, but of course according to the Christian, Bible-based FCC
under Powell, no "turning on" happened in this thread.

19. Instead of using a spoon...
Try sectioning the grapefruit- cut out the pulp from the bitter skin, and you can eat it in pieces that are sweet enough without sugar. Besides, spoons lead to the dreaded grapefruit-juice to the eyeball squirt every now and then, a torture worthy of Torquemada.
