Been deviling me for three weeks now. x(

I've had that in the past & it's a PITA for sure. Here's what works for me: warm baths, massages (although a bit owie, a day or two later I can really feel the relief) & extra strength midol or pamprin (don't know why these work when they don't do anything for me re: pms, but they do).

4. So you can understand it
I was pulling off a main motor cover behind engine #2 in the FER, heavy, it slipped and I partially ruptured a disc which put pressure on the sciatic nerve. For the next 3 years 24/7 it felt like a taut rubber band running between my left heel and butt. I would try to scratch the irritating itch-pain, but nothing worked.

Then it went away on it's own and never came back.

6. ugh, sciatica is horrible
I had it for a few weeks when I was pregnant. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Hope you feel better soon. :hug:

When I've had sciatica I lie on my side, on the side it's on, and stretch that leg in line with my body, then relax that way so the mattress holds my leg in that position.
