"So You Think You Can Dance"-I wish.

This is one of those programs that I love because raw talent is shining through. Has anyone been paying attention?

1. I watched it for the first time tonight - and enjoyed it!

I'm embarassed to say the remote was out of reach and I was too lazy to get up - but then I was sucked in.

Damn I wish I could dance like that. Just watching them made my arthritic knees hurt!

I have been rooting for Josh and Katee since the first show.

The routines tonight were fantastic.

fathom having that much energy. I did see some exhaustion, but they are all wonderful!

The show is live since they tell viewers to call in at the end. I always thought the dance numbers were live...???

Nigel mentioned somethinga at the end that it didn't matter how tired they are, they always have to give the audience their money's worth. And he was critical of the jive number, saying the dancers looked tired. (No wonder!)

Yes, those numbers were very grueling! Those kids are amazing dancers.

3. Not really. But a few weeks back

I was perusing the Dallas Morning News and a small picture in the corner of the page of a gorgeous black girl with legs to die for, decked out as a dancer, caught my eye. It was Chelsea Traille, a girl who went to church with me as she was growing up. Unfortunately, she was voted off the show two weeks later.


The really cool thing is, that the church we went to was a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, which really doesn't allow for such freedom of expression, sensuality/sexuality, and "worldly" camaraderie that Chelsea has to be experiencing to be part of that show (I also caught up that she had been a Mavs dancer last year). And that means that she is most likely either out, or on her way out, of that destructive religion. The bad news is that she will likely lose her family as part of the bargain.

12. The show was fantastic tonight.

It's so entertaining, and it's really the only show I will sit down and give my full attention to.

It is almost a shame that just one person gets to win the top prize tomorrow night...they all were soooo good. :)

15. I missed the first season but have been glued to the last two. I also watch

"Step It Up" and "America's Best Dance Crew". I've never tried the "Dancing with the Stars" one. (I also watch the various cheerleading reality shows that come out. I love those too.)
