We have two our final two exams of the quarter next week; one on Monday, the last on Friday. It's gonna be a hellacious week of studying...

7. Hi, Writer. I'm in my first quarter of Physician Assistant School.

It's a pretty intense two-year course after which I'll be able to practice clinical medicine. I worked as a Medical Assistant for five years just to get the clinical experience required even to apply. The Summer Quarter is the sorting-out period. Anyone who doesn't pass the exams will get booted from the program. And they had it set up so that you had to pass four of the seven exams first time around in order to be eligible for re-testing. Well, I cleared that hurdle; and my goal is to pass all seven on the first try. That way, my break between Summer and Fall Quarters will be five weeks, instead of just four.

So far I've tested on Anatomy & Physiology, Molecular Science, and Genetics. Coming up, exams for Immunology and Microbiology. So I keep pretty busy studying... B-) :hi:
