I've figured out what is going on at DU lately...

It's a condition known as "Dumb."

One in four people are affected by Dumb (Also known as "Stupid" and referred to as "Thick" in the U.K.). It's a sad condition that, while not a burden to the one with the condition, makes the lives of people around the Dumb person unbearable.

The worst part is many people with Dumb have it so severely that they don't realize they have it. In fact, many think they are intelligent - the direct opposite of Dumb.

Dumb people will lash out at others and make their lives frustrating by not listening to what the non-dumb person is trying to say. This is a side-affect of the aforementioned situation when the Dumb advances so much the sufferer thinks they're intelligent.

The best way to deal with a Dumb person is to acquiesce because you cannot convince a Dumb sufferer to comprehend logic. It will make you suffer as repeatedly explaining something to a Dumb person will cause headaches, anger and even heart attacks or strokes. So, for the sake of your own health, never try to challenge a Dumb person. Just back away and leave the area.

Sadly there is no cure for Dumb. In fact, because a person with Dumb is running the country, all funding to Dumb research has been cut.
