How many countries can you name in 5 minutes?
I only got 58 of 195. :( I'm going to have to try to do better.

http://jetpunk.com/quizzes/

After the quiz, you'll be shown a map and lists of the countries you did and didn't get.

28. same here and I totally forgot India, Pakistan and Afghanistan the first time around
I was sort of working my way from North America, downward to South America, then Europe and moving across Asia when the timer started going faster (not but you know what I mean) and I hadn't gotten to South Asia yet!

10. Embarrassing. I got 45.
The map of what I missed is fascinating. I missed most of Africa (couldn't remember the name changes - was trying things like Gold Coast and Ivory Coast) and a lot of Eastern Europe (same reason, couldn't remember the new names).

I had to think about spelling on some of them, and I was trying to be methodical about it, so I got most of the Americas, Western Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, but I didn't even start on Africa. :P

24. I started off methodically, but then I started jumping around.
My map of Africa was kind of funny. I got almost all of the north, two countries in the south, and nothing in the middle.

27. retook it and got 83. still got bogged down by spelling and typos and the occasional
"I can see it on the map but can't think of its name" That would be the 3 little countries on the top of South America and the many islands north of Australia

And we won't even discuss the Former Soviet Union and most of the entire continent of Africa

I'd be interested to see how many I could get without a time limit though

Also, if anyone is interested, this link has the same task, but with a 10 minute time limit

32. 69--however, it should have been 70.
The rules said to use the "common English name", and it wouldn't count "Ivory Coast." I couldn't remember how to spell "Cote d'Iviore".
