Going down to Orange Beach (near Mobile, AL) tomorrow to see CSN, then on Wednesday it's Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick. Both shows at the Wharf Amphitheater. I am soooooo stoked. Our 20-year old son is going with us, and he's stoked to see CSN!!

4. I was disappointed to see Steve Augeri leave Journey...

...I thought the two albums of new material ("Arrival," "Generations" and the "Red 13" EP weren't half bad.

I bought the new "Revelation" CD...I've watched the DVD but haven't mustered the courage to listen to the "new" CD or the "re-recorded hits" CD yet.

I know this is the gig of Arnel Pineda's life but I find him to be annoying. Yeah, he sounds like Steve Perry...not as close as Augeri, but still in the ballpark..and the rest of the band members are working musicians who deserve to work. Who knows...if Pineda sticks around a bit longer than Augeri he might grow into a talent in his own right. For now, I see him as the Journey cover band singer that guitarist Neal Schon found on YouTube.
