Avatar help needed!

I have one file uploaded as you can see from my post. I have tried to update with a new picture and according to DU, I successfully uploaded the new image. However, it's still the old image. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Do you have to somehow dump your old image to get a new image uploaded?

1. You have to sign in again

Log out and sign in again, then you should see your new avatar. :D

2. Thanks, tried it, won't work

It tells me upload successful but then it won't change the picture from my old one. How annoying! I tried to put it in my sig line as you can see but that didn't work either!

3. Not to be a pain but I really want to know!

Does anyone know how to get my old downloaded picture undownloaded and my new one up? The DU program keeps telling me that the new pic is uploaded but it's just the same one. I know it's got to be something simple...help please?!

5. are you hitting "update" after you upload?

that is what saves the new info. :shrug: :yoiks:

6. Yep, that's our Storm

looking at me after I fed him as if to say "What? You expect us to eat *that?!* The new picture I'm trying to put up is of our new kitten, Cosmo. Cosmo is having a rough morning...the toilet seat was up and he came flying in the bathroom, leaping onto (he thought)the seat and went for a swim instead! What a surprised little boy he was! He just turned 3 months old...:loveya:

8. after uploading

did you retype personal/.gif into the user profile box? after uploading you have to do that to reset it.
