Kitties to be Killed in Boca
Don't let the cats run loose in Boca!

Officials have decided to destroy Boca-area cat colonies where rabies casees have originated.

Animal Care and Control officials decided today to euthanize every feral cat they trap and remove from the colony west of Boca Raton where a rabid kitten was found.

"Because this colony is in a densely populated community, the decision to depopulate is appropriate," said Dianne Sauve, Animal Care and Control Director.

1. They do that here too.. If a cat is picked up and is not "friendly"
or if has no collar w/ID , or looks unkempt, they are euthanized.. There are too many available for adoption, and no one wants the scraggly, sad ones.. Being unloved is a death sentence:cry:..spay and neuter and keep your babies inside ....please !!
