Poll question: Battle of the Bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers vs. INXS
Time for another musical slugfest.
I think these two match-up pretty well.
Vote your choice.

3. Love both bands...
I love both bands. I had to place my vote for RHCP. I just feel their music is/was more inovative. INXS was a very influential band during the mid to late 80's. It was a difficult choice though.. should be interesting to see the results.

6. Except for Flea

He's great! That's not to say I completely agree with you. I loved the RHCPs in their prime (during the late 80's early 90's), but I never thought they were great musicians. They just played fun, high energy college rock that was fun to jump up and down to.

INXS? I bought their first hit album. Listened to it for a month or two, and haven't thought about them since.

5. Gee, why not just pit the Vienna symphony vs. the Disney singing bears?

7. Because I love a lot of different bands, different styles and grooves
and I enjoy reading the comments.

BTW, I voted for INXS.

8. Really interesting poll - I'm having trouble choosing
I love 'em both. I've only seen RHCP live, and that was cool (from what I can remember - it was Lollapalooza and they were the last band and I was, well....). But INXS, man - some really great music.

URRRRRGGGGGHHHH!

I'm going to pick INXS, no, ... yes, yes INXS. RHCP can only get better (I hope, that last album?) and INXS is, well, no longer.

10. I know it's sometimes really hard to choose just one.
The results are interesting.

A while ago Marvin Gaye and David Bowie ended up a draw here!
