I went out for a beer with Pitt last year, and DS1's been over a few times this year, but that's it. Last "meetup" I can think of was an early Saturday thing to watch the Red Sox play over brunch & beer while KathyInCambridge was still a member.

8. bigwillq and I were talking last week

We've been trying to get a CT thing going forever. Things just never click. Amye (Amaya) and I hang out a lot and she still talks to jonny sometimes and is just down the road from NewJeffCT. Lynz and Briarius (or Zornhau I guess now) are about 1/2 hour from us in the other direction.

Tell you what, if Pat and I buy a house next Spring like we plan, we'll have one!

10. That's because KathyInCambridge was usually the one who started planning one.

Though, there WAS a DU gathering planned a few weeks ago when ThomCat was in town, but the people whe were going to come weren't able to make it (and others probably missed the posts planning it). He and missmillie were the only ones to show up for food and drink on the Sunday, then I met the two of them at the Sunset Grill for drinks on Monday evening. A good time and good people.

Gotta find a way to get something planned. We used to have the BEST DU 'meetups' in Boston/Cambridge.
