Got a RW piece of crap in your Email?? PUSH BACK!

I just got one of those STUPID RW emails that get passed around, this one from a friend of my wife. It was the one that has a supposed quote from a writer 200 years ago about the fall of democracy and then it compares Gores states to Bushes. I took a quick look at Snopes then tore the person a new one and did a "reply all." SNOPES is great for that kind of thing. (Plus I found the stats that show most of Bush's states take back morebin taxes than they pay, I LOVE that chart!)


BTW, I told my wife what happened and she said "good for you." Her friend will likely be embarrased more than angry.

PUSH BACK PEOPLE! Right wingers assume they are the majority because all they hear are other RWers on radio on via these crappy chain emails. We have the facts on OUR side so let's use them!!

2. I rarely get them.

It's the first one I've gotten in months. Probably because I write a note firmly showing the original piece is total crap, then do a "reply all."


BTW, I don't do the "reply all" on harmless chain mail, like "look at the neat pic of the iceberg", just one the RW propaganda.

We skewer and "reply all" to right-wing religious emails (which we call godspam) all the time.

Maybe we should have a name for the right wing bullshit that ends up in our inboxes all the time. How does freepspam sound?

5. My repuke aunt was sending me

anti Clinton emails for a long time and I was just deleting them. Finally, I got fed up and ripped her a new one. A few days later I got an email from her son that said I had hurt her feelings and I had better not do it again. LOL! Needless to say I let him know where to get off too. A few weeks later I get another email from her and it was the one about Hillary Clinton refusing to see those military moms. I pasted a link to Snopes that refuted it and I haven't heard from her since. :-)
