7. You need to take care of yourself!

Get plenty of sleep. Take whatever pain mediciation they gave you so that you stay ahead of the pain. Eat good food and drink plenty of water. I'm so glad that it went well. :-)

He said the same about the pain meds: stay ahead of the pain, and that I'd be the best judge of it. He said pain delays healing, and to let him know if I wasn't getting good pain relief.:)

I have not been around much for the last couple of days and did not know. I hope you are OK. Brothers are wonderful, I miss mine. Just tell him you love him and tell him often. I am wishing you the best.

10. I tell him every time I talk to him.

I hugged him as best I could before he left, and told him "I love you, lad", to which he said "I know that, ya silly git!", and hugged me back. Irish men don't talk about such stuff easily, although we're better at it than people my parent's and grandparent's age were. :):)

I had an ulnar nerve entrapment, and some bone spurs, etc. in my elbow. All fixed now, just have to heal. :)
