44-pound cat's owner located
Just saw this on Digg. The owner of the 44 lb cat had to give him up because her home was foreclosed.

I read the whole story, and everyone wants to make sure the cat has a good home, but not one word about anyone helping the poor lady who lost her house. Modern times.

1. Oh, that really sucks. And I'm sure that the kitty misses his owner and his home.
I hope that this makes the news as much as the story about the cat did. They both deserve to go home...:-(

2. I feel sorry for the lady, but did she "give him up" or did she abandon him?
The article wasn't clear.

At any rate, sad story all the way around. I hope Prince Chunk is on a new home soon. :)

3. Another article said she entrusted cat to friend
who was going to find a home for him or place him in a no-kill shelter.
I feel so sorry for the poor woman. I hope this publicity helps her as much as it seems to have helped Prince Chunk.

5. Like the people who go into disaster areas and rescue the animals,
but leave the people.
