i move tomorrow (well, it'll be today in about eight minutes) and i kept meaning to call comcast and get the service switched over, but didn't get around to it until this evening and the first available appointment time is next friday x(

i can already feel myself going through withdrawals...but i guess that'll be one less thing to distract me from unpacking, right?

1. My dear kagehime...
Aw, sweetie...

I can believe you're having withdrawals...

Do they have a wait list for cancellations?

You know, where someone calls up and says don't come out right now? And then they can take care of someone like yourself...

On the other hand, you will be busy unpacking!

How about a wifi cafe?

3. Exactly the same thing happening with me.
Moving tomorrow, but have to have a cable line put into my new digs before I can get online at home again. It'll be at least a week, probably longer given how Comcast responds to customers here. I'll be jonesing for sure by Sunday.

4. No wireless networks in your new area that you might be able to piggyback on?
Or local libraries or anything you can use to at least check email and DU and any other sites you frequent?
